The band, this will Sting, featuring Michael Bradley, will be performing at the Starlight Bowl on Sunday August 16th.
Band Bio:
The band has been together since 2003 performing a variety of classic rock and original songs. In early 2008 they started performing a “tribute to Sting” set, which was so well received that the band decided to form an entire show around it. Thus the new band, this will Sting, was born. twS has been performing around Southern California and building and refining their Sting tunes to a high musical level, and audiences have been marveling at how much like Sting the lead singer, Michael Bradley, sounds. The band is comprised of the following members:
- Michael Bradley: lead vocals and guitar
- Rachel Scott: background and lead vocals
- Ricky Katz: lead guitar
- Pat Wilkins: bass guitar, vocals
- Thom Salisbury: keyboards, vocals
- Richie Rich: drums

Album name: Lonely Soldier Boy II ~ An Acoustic Album (2008)
This is the follow up album to the fully produced Lonely Soldier Boy CD (2007). All songs are performed as a minimalist acoustic remix of songs from the Robotech television series and Robotech: The Movie (aka Untold Story), originally written and/or performed by Michael Bradley.
Even though I've been listening to versions of these songs for 20 years now, everything on the album was very fresh. It takes a special kind of musician to make acoustic versions of songs like that.
Absolutely incredible how this music doesn't get old. The music (orchestral and vocal) is one of Robotech's most enduring and richest legacies. Michael Bradley was a big part of that and his new album proves it.
Wonderful CD. Highly recommended!.
